City staff, local students partner for Make A Difference Day
About 40 local students and city employees spent much of last Saturday painting and landscaping at the Ormond Beach Middle School, 151 Domicilio Avenue, for Make A Difference Day.

Many of the volunteers were Ormond Beach Middle School students, who worked along side city staff members and community volunteers to paint directional markers, picnic tables and benches, and assist with some landscaping improvements. The project was coordinated by John Bouck, Neighborhood Improvement Officer. Make A Difference Day is coordinated locally by the United Way of Volusia-Flagler Counties and nationally by USA Weekend Magazine.
